The BITW 2009 will be held on January 16,17,18 2009. It is hosted for the fourth year by the Coachella Valley Radio Control Club and will be the twentieth anniversary of the Jet Rally. Sam Wright will again announce the show. BITW is sponsored by:

The is a jet only event. Turbines Jet Waivers are required. The entry fee for the weekend of flying is $40 including free lunches on Friday and Saturday, a BITW Logo tee shirt and a free pilot raffle ticket. Prizes will be full color plaques. Parking for pilots and spotters, with or without RVs, is free. Dry camping is available at the field.
Spectator entry is one $5 parking fee good for the entire weekend.
Coachella Valley Model Airpark
The Coachella Valley
Radio Control Club has hosted the BITW for the past three years at its
beautiful club field. The field has a 600 by 70 ft. asphalt runway, compacted
70 ft. runoffs, 260 acres of unobstructed desert and ample shade. The club is known for its hospitality, good
food and great raffle prizes.
